I will be sharing here, the natural remedies that have been most effective and the most fast acting that I have come across and used for myself to treat sore throats, colds, sinus congestion, post nasal drip and eye infections.
Due to my special health needs, medications and synthetic supplements, and manufacturing residues have mostly been hit and miss for me and the side effects have often been detrimental to my body – taking, weeks, months and sometimes years for me to recover from some of their side effects. As a result, I have been for the most part left to my own defences to find natural potently effective alternatives for the many health challenges I have been facing over the many years.
About 2 months ago I caught my first cold in over 10 years. A good sign that my immune system is starting to work again. It was a very heavy one with a terrible sore throat, nasal congestion and a post nasal drip that was affecting the upper lungs.
These were the remedies that were used for the nasal congestion, sore throat and post nasal drip.
To prevent further penetration of the congestion deeper into the lower lungs, I applied a natural, home made Chest and Neck Rub (1) that also helped alleviate the symptoms of the cold and offered relief of symptoms as well.

Eye Infection Remedies (as needed)
The above remedies were used for the eye infection and in addition, these homeopathic remedies were also used:
Boiron, Optique 1 (8)- Euphrasia Officianalis (Eyebright) (9, 10) eye drop remedy (I also used Unda Specialties that has since been discontinued)
Euphrasia Officianalis pellets (11,, 12) – 7 ch, 15 ch and 30 ch.
General Immune Boosting Aids
Because my immune system is still quite challenged with all the pathogen presence that has been overwhelming it for decades, these supplements have been very helpful in offering the much needed boost for the immune system to push over that hump.
Vitamin D, Elderberry and Echinacea.
Since my body is still deficient in Vitamine D and unable to process and assimilate and retain oral supplementation, I have been using vitamin D patches (14).
At the tail end of the second eye infection, I began using a liquid supplement containing both Echinacea and Elderberry (15).

When the 1st cold surfaced about 2 months ago, I needed to address the cause of the lung infection, the post nasal drip. My functional medical physician, Dr. Randy, suggested a nasal rinse, neti (2, 3) and/or a nasal spray application of 10 ppm colloidal silver (13) to address the possible fungal and/or bacterial presence in the sinuses that may be causing the nasal congestion and post nasal drip. I had asked about using Biomolecular Oxygen (5) in a nasal spray or wash instead. but Dr. Randy had no clinical experience with it and so could not, at the time, make any suggestions using this application.
I used Sovereign Silver 10 ppm nasal spray (16) 1 to 3 squirts 3x-4x per day. It offered some relief but not enough – the cold was still quite strong.

Since I did not have a nasal wash or nasal spray in the first week. I improvised using a dropper and even tried using a nebulizer (17).
By the second week, the eyes were developing an eye infection that was beginning to progress more intensely. I had purchased the Euphrasia Officianalis pellets (11, 12) – 15ch and used it for 2 days when, over 2 weeks after the initial recommendation from Dr. Randy, he had experimented sufficiently with the Biomolecular Oxygen (5) application and recommended the doses for neti (2, 3) and nasal spray applications.
When I tried the oxygen nasal spray, the congestion and sore throat were alleviated significantly and the rapidly progressing eye infection was stopped in its tracks. The eye infection symptoms were also alleviated.
Another recommendation was made by Dr Todd using the anti-parasitic tincture, Formula 2 (4) in the neti (2, 3) application.
I still did not have a neti pot (2, 3) . But by then I had a nasal spray bottle. I added Formula 2 (4) to the Biomolecular Oxygen (5) nasal spray bottle and noticed even greater relief from the cold and eye infection symptoms. I even ventured to spray the eyes with this mixture and experienced even more relief and rapid healing.
Though I experienced great results applying the spray to the eyes, the burning experienced with each spray to the eyes was intense but well worth the temporary discomfort for the results.
On the second day of using this spray mixture, I decided to add one more remedy to the mix. 1 drop of MitoRestore (7) to the 2oz spray bottle. I noticed a greater recovery using this but my body was not ready to use MitoRestore (7) in this way. I was taking 10 drops per day of MitoRestore (7) orally, but the application on the eyes and the nasal passages was too strong for me at that point in time. So I removed the MitoRestore (7) from the spray mix..
Within the week the cold symptoms mostly all disappeared.
I continued to apply the spray to the eyes for another week whenever I experience the slightest itch in the eyes. I had purchased the eye drop homeopathic remedy on the day that I began using the Biomolecular Oxygen (5) remedy but did not use it then because of the great results I was experiencing with the nasal and eye spray. I also stopped using the homeopathic pellet remedy for the same reason.
After about a week, I decided to give the homeopathic eye drops a try. I noticed that the liquid homeopathics offered a remedy in ways that the other remedies I used until that point in time did not reach.
The following week, a visitor came by with a heavy cold and I caught it. I went back on the Biomolecular Oxygen (5) and Formula 2 (4) nasal spray remedy as well as the Chest and Neck Rub (1) for several days. Though it offered immediate relief for the sore throat,. the nasal congestion was heavy. When I finally found a neti pot that I was happy with – I applied Formula 2 followed by the Biomolecular Oxygen (5) rinse remedies with the neti pot (2, 3). Hours after the neti pot application, I was able to breathe through both nostrils for the first time in weeks – and the nasal congestion disappeared within 3 days.
I mostly only did the 1st and 2nd neti rinses and did not do the 3rd every time. I found that when I used a more concentrated salt solution, the results were potent.And I also experienced the benefit of using the alternate 3rd rinse using Bioactive Carbon Minerals (6). Using the Bioactive Carbon Minerals (6) rinse seemed to alleviate the sinus dryness that sometimes developed from the rinses. It also seemed to offer a balancing effect for me.
Three weeks later, a heavier eye infection was developing. The lower left part of the left eye was bright red and spreading rapidly. The homeopathic remedies were offering slight relief but not enough. When I applied the Formula 2 (4) followed by the Biomolecular Oxygen (5) neti pot (2, 3) , the infection stopped progressing and the bright red became a dull pink. But the infection was quite aggressive. I stocked up on the homeopathic eye drops and bought 2 additional pellet strengths Euphrasia Officianalis 7 ch and 30 ch.
On the 1st day, I applied the eye drops every hour, the oral pills every 3 hours (rotating the strengths every 3 hours) and the neti pot 3 times on the first day.
On the second day I applied the eye drops every 2 hours, oral pills 3x/day, neti pot 2x/day and the nasal spray solution every 2nd hour as well as 4 to 6 times per day to the eyes.
On the 3rd day, the eyes felt almost normal . The eye color was still a very dull dirty pink in the corners of the eyes. I maintained the schedule of the 2nd day.
The homeopathic pellet application, I used 7ch when I went to sleep and 15 ch and 30 ch later in the day. Ch 7 is more for mental and energetic and the higher ones are more for action on the physical.
In the recent 3 weeks, I had been taking 20 drops of MitoRestore (7) orally per day and noticing that my recovery time after physical activity has improving significantly. I assumed that given this shift, I should be better equipped to handle it n the nasal passages and eyes. My assumption was correct – I have not experienced any exhaustion or any additional tiredness after application this time around.
My reasoning for the application to the nasal passages and the eyes is that I expect greater permeability through the eyes and the the nasal passages into the brain. the The idea is that MitoRestore (7) will help support and build mitochondria in the eyes and the brain to boost not only energy levels but also immune and cellular robustness. All very important to overcome infections. For similar reasons applying Biomolecular Oxygen (5) in this way, I expect it better oxygenates the eyes and brain. All very good help for the body to overcome and rebuild.
